1. How are the courses and content delivered?
The Master of Music in music education program uses an online format, a process in which you do not attend lectures but rather learn anywhere you have access to the Internet. Online courses are delivered under the direction of faculty and staff via the Internet. Innovative educational technology allows you to get course assignments, ask questions of faculty and other students and participate in discussions at any time of the day or night.

2. Will my diploma specify that this is an "online" degree?
No. You will receive the same Kent State University degree as our on-campus students.

5. How much time per week is required to complete Kent State's online Master of Music in music education program?
Most students spend between 15 to 20 hours studying each week. Ideal times to study are in the morning before your family wakes up, during spare time at the office or in the evening. The program is designed for working professionals who cannot afford to waste time driving to and from class each day in addition to upholding personal and professional commitments. Your
dedicated support team in addition to your peers will also support you and help keep you on track with regards to time management.

6. What is the typical class size in a Kent State online program?
You will complete your studies in a cohort or class of about 15 to 20 other students. This small class size allows you to get to know your fellow students and form professional and personal friendships over the course of your studies.
